LGTAI101
AI Fundamentals for Legal Professionals
78 narrated minutes
Five self-paced courses that take a lawyer from how generative AI works to a firm-ready quality system: fundamentals, prompting, ethics, governance, and research and drafting workflows. Tool-agnostic, built around the Rules of Professional Conduct, and designed for Florida CLE accreditation.
Take them in order, or start where you need to. Each course stands alone, uses the same Five-Element Prompt and Six-Step Validation Checklist, and ends with a graded final exam and a certificate of completion.

Each course in the path is built to the Florida Bar's accreditation standards for technology CLE, with a detailed timed agenda and substantive written materials. LGTAI301 is built for ethics credit as well. Accreditation is pending; no credit is approved until The Florida Bar issues a course number. Learn how credit works on our CLE information page.
Do I need to take the courses in order?
+No. Each course stands alone. The order shown is the one we recommend because later courses apply the prompting method and verification checklist taught earlier.
Which AI tool do I need?
+None. The path is tool-agnostic. Examples reference the major assistants and legal platforms so you can apply the lessons to whatever your firm uses. Our Microsoft Copilot track covers that product family in depth.
How long does the path take?
+About seven hours of narrated instruction across the five courses, plus exercises, quizzes, and finals. Most learners finish a course in one or two sittings.
Is there a certificate?
+Yes. Passing the final exam issues a certificate of completion with a unique verification ID for each course. Once a course receives a Florida CLE reference number, the certificate carries it.
